I’ve tried a lot of different brands and Blue Mountain Hay is by far the best I’ve found❤️My Silkie hens love nesting in it & they actually lay more eggs. You can really tell it’s high-quality straw and it also makes coop maintenance much easier.
These are really nice beds for my chickens. I opted to take them off the brown paper they're stuck to, because my chickens tend to scratch anyways. They're very comfortable and them and worked very well during the cold weather.
These nesting pads are great, very straightforward. They are clean (don't smell musty or anything), easy to use and very functional in the coop. Best part, my ladies seem to enjoy using them!
The nesting pads work well. My chickens appear to like them and use them just fine. They work well for small backyard flocks like mine where I do not want to buy and store an entire bale of material.
If you love all things organic then this straw nesting is for you. No chemical smell and works great for use in chicken coop. Note it is messy when opening package. Great value and good product.
